Visa rules are changing again in Thailand. “Long-term” tourists, resettlers, and winterers were warned that this is an “extended” program of visa-free stay, and now everything will be more difficult with this.
It is about the fact that on March 31, Thailand will most likely end the extended program of visa-free stay in the country, which allowed a tourist to stay in the kingdom for 45 days without any problems. Next, Thailand plans to return to the traditional 30 days allowed for a visa-free stay for tourists, and for visas after arrival, the period will be reduced even more – to 15 days.
However, so far no official statement about the reduction of the program, nor about its possible extension, has been published. However, tourists have already been warned to monitor the terms of their stay and not allow delays.
