According to RTL Nieuws, the Netherlands supports a ban on the issuance of tourist visas to Russians in the EU. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country Wopke Hoekstra.
According to him, “Russian tourists are no longer welcome in Europe, they no longer need to obtain visas.”
At the same time, the Dutch authorities believe that the ban should not apply to other types of visas for Russians – study, family visits, visas for refugees, and visas for long-term residence.
