Georgia proposes to introduce visas for Russians and Belarusians

In Georgia, more than 13,000 people signed a petition on the website of the Georgian government with a proposal to introduce a visa regime for citizens of Russia and Belarus.

The document is available at Manifest.ge. The petition proposes to introduce a visa regime for Russians and Belarusians to limit their stay in Georgia to three months. That is, “the purpose of their visit will be tourism and travel, and not business activities.”

Georgian bar introduced entry visa for Russians

To get into one of the bars in Tbilisi, now Russians, in addition to face control, also need to fill out a questionnaire, which Dedaena Bar employees called a visa. Citizens of the Russian Federation are asked to put their consent under the paragraphs, including issues relating to the territorial integrity of some republics and attitudes towards the political leadership.
