Electronic China: New Entry Rules Introduced for Foreign Tourists

Starting 20 November 2025, China has implemented a new system of electronic arrival cards (Arrival Card) for all foreign visitors. This was announced by National Immigration Administration (NIA) and confirmed by DIP.

Travelers can now fill out the card in advance on s.nia.gov.cn or upon arrival using electronic kiosks or paper forms. The main goal is to speed up border procedures and reduce queues.
