New York State lifts quarantine and testing restrictions for SARS-CoV-2 for vaccinated local travelers. The warning is that the new regulation is applied within 90 days after the second vaccination of the traveler due to the lack of data on how long the immune system will be preserved, which is associated with vaccine prophylaxis.
The same applies to domestic travelers who have not yet been fully vaccinated. The easing of restrictions does not apply to foreign travelers over the age of two, who must also provide a negative test for COVID-19, made within three days of the trip, and continue quarantine even if they have been vaccinated.
Cuomo also said that from April 2, venues for arts, entertainment and entertainment can resume work with a 33% load, up to 100 people indoors and up to 200 people outdoors. If all participants provide proof of a negative test result before entry, the capacity can increase to 150 people indoors and up to 500 people outdoors. Sports and entertainment events in large stadiums and arenas have already been allowed to open with a limited number of spectators from 23 February.
However, all current recommendations of the Ministry of Health must be strictly adhered to, including wearing masks, capacity limits, testing requirements and designated seating at social distances.
