A dolphin trapped in a small lake after a flood in the US state of Louisiana was rescued during a large-scale operation. He found himself in an area whose streets remained under water after Hurricane Ida.
The dolphin was first spotted by residents of the area last week.
After being removed from standing water, he was examined by veterinarians before returning to the Gulf of Mexico. The dolphin was found to be healthy.
