The rating of the friendliest airlines for tourists, including “relocators” who want to travel abroad with pets, was presented by DIP. Tourists were listed in detail how many types of pets the carrier accepts, what the cages should be, and how much the tourist will have to pay.
The first place was taken by Turkish Airlines. The cost of traveling with a pet here ranges from $8 to $24. At the same time, the air carrier allows four types of animals on board (dogs, cats, canaries, parrots), and it can carry three animals per passenger. However, the dimensions of the cages should be no more than 93 cm.
In second place is the Japanese All Nippon Airways. The cost of transporting pets varies from 50 to 400 dollars. Nine types of animals are allowed on board, including dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, birds, and ferrets.
In third place is the American low-cost carrier Spirit. The rules specify a fixed cost of a trip with a furry friend – 125 dollars. Dogs, birds, cats, and rabbits are allowed on board, with no more than two animals per passenger.
In fourth place is the Chinese air carrier Sichuan Airlines, and in fifth – is Japan Airlines.
Tourists were also told that the Emirates airline company, which is widely represented in Russia, allows taking on board the most enormous containers for animals – up to three meters. But the carrier was in sixth place in terms of the cost factor of such a trip – you will have to pay 500 to 800 dollars for it, and one passenger is allowed to transport up to three animals.
