A Dubai court has dropped charges against Russian businessman Alexei Kontsov of organizing a photo shoot with naked girls in Dubai.
Currently, the entrepreneur has already left the United Arab Emirates. “The court dropped the charges against the Russian and decided to deport him from the UAE,” the Russian Consulate General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates said.
Aleksey Kontsov was detained in early April 2021 along with 12 Ukrainian citizens participating in a nude photo session on the balcony of one of Dubai’s skyscrapers.
Video recordings of the “indecent” action were circulated on social networks and sparked public outrage. Earlier, 11 participants in the photo shoot were deported from Dubai – they returned to Kiev and are actively sharing the details of their detention on social networks.
The video, which received a wide public response, was apparently filmed by residents of a nearby building. In addition, the organizers themselves distributed photographs taken directly in the apartments. The action took place in the daytime.
The Dubai police have warned the residents of the emirate against such unacceptable behavior, which does not reflect the values and ethical principles of the Emirati society.
