The Emirate of Dubai (UAE) received a record 17.15 million foreign tourists in 2023. This was reported by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism.
According to the department, at the end of last year, foreign tourist flows increased by 19.4%.
Most often, the emirate was visited by tourists from Western Europe — almost 3.3 million, the share of these countries in the total tourist flow was 19%. In second place are the countries of South Asia (3.1 million, 18%). The top three countries are completed by the countries of the CIS and Eastern Europe, where 2.26 million guests came, which is 13% of the total foreign tourist flow.
The TOP 5 also includes the Middle East and Africa (12%) and North and Southeast Asia (9%).
The agency recalls that in 2022, 14.36 million tourists visited Dubai.
