The authorities of Abu Dhabi have introduced relief for tourist sites and events – now they will be able to work with 100% occupancy and occupancy of the premises. This decision was made by the Moscow Committee for the Management of Emergency Situations, Crises and Natural Disasters.
The mask regime will continue to operate in the premises for all visitors. It is worth recalling that in April, the authorities of Abu Dhabi allowed people who had not been vaccinated against COVID-19 to visit events, tourist attractions and cultural institutions, subject to the presentation of negative results of PCR testing (its expiration date is 48 hours).
Last week, Abu Dhabi also extended the validity of green passes in the Al Hosn mobile application – instead of 14, green status will now be assigned for 30 days (to all who have been vaccinated against coronavirus).
Users will still need a negative PCR test to maintain their green status, which is now required every 30 days. The presence of a “green” pass is necessary to visit public places, including shopping and entertainment centers, restaurants, cultural institutions.
The authorities of Abu Dhabi have canceled the pass system for entering the territory of the capital emirate for motorists from February 28, 2022. Arrivals from other emirates are no longer required to present the green pass on the Al Hosn app at the entrance.
The city authorities have dismantled EDE scanners previously installed at checkpoints at the entrance to Abu Dhabi. They determined the possible presence of coronavirus in motorists. Entrance to public and tourist areas still requires a green pass on the Al Hosn app.
