The death toll from floods in northern Turkey is rising. The death of 27 people has been confirmed, according to Turkish media. The highest number of victims in Kastamon – 25, two deaths were registered in Sinop. One person went missing in Bartina.

Agriculture and Forestry Minister Bekir Pakdemirli warned that Kastamon was facing a disaster that had not existed for 50 or 100 years.
Rescuers are working on a four-story apartment building that partially collapsed in the Bozkurt area of Kastamonu.
