The CEO of the Turkish national carrier Turkish Airlines, Bilal Ekshi, spoke in favor of the abolition of the mask regime on airplanes.
According to him, this will “extremely favorably affect the comfort of passengers.” The airline “will welcome the removal of the mask regime if conditions allow it.” The head of the carrier recalled that the authorities of a number of countries have already canceled the requirement to wear masks during air travel. Turkish Airlines is now awaiting a decision from the Turkish Ministry of Health.
Recall that from January 15, Turkish Airlines canceled mandatory PCR tests when boarding on domestic flights within Turkey. In March, the Turkish authorities abandoned the mask regime on the streets and indoors.
