Europe is already accepting tourists, and coronavirus restrictions are being lifted, but here comes a new misfortune – extreme heat. Abnormal temperatures turn cities into greenhouses. Spanish Madrid is already celebrating 40 degrees in the shade.
“It is very difficult to endure such heat. I drink a lot of cold water. But it doesn’t help,” complains Madrid resident Brooke Keener.
“It’s unbearably hot. Everywhere, even in the subway – underground – it’s hot. I would love to jump into the icy water right now,” said Venezuelan tourist Fernando Figueroa.
The same is happening all over the continent. The south of France, Portugal, and Italy is languishing from the heat. Forecasters promise that it will be even hotter. Watch the video to learn more about the situation in Europe.
