Two planes collided during an air race at a show in the American city of Reno in Nevada.
The incident was posted on the Reno Air Racing Association (RARA) social media page X.
Both pilots are reported to have died.

“The Reno Air Racing Association is saddened to announce that at approximately 2:15 p.m., two members of our racing family, Nick Macy and Chris Rushing, were killed in a landing accident,” the statement said.

The association is investigating the cause of the incident together with the National Transportation Safety Board, local authorities and the US Federal Aviation Administration.
None of the spectators were injured.
