The plane of the Turkish national carrier Turkish Airlines was forced to make an emergency landing in the Indonesian city of Medan because a passenger attacked the crew members.
The aircraft was on a flight from Istanbul to Jakarta. The brawler turned out to be an Indonesian citizen who was in a state of extreme intoxication. He attacked airline employees when they asked him to keep order on board.
The Turkish Airlines flight arrived in Jakarta with a significant delay.
