The British Foreign Office has issued a fresh warning for its tourists regarding Turkey. Warnings were strengthened: earthquakes and fires were officially added to the previous salmonellosis.
“Many regions of Turkey are regularly affected by earthquakes and aftershocks. These earthquakes can be very strong, can damage infrastructure, and put your life at risk,” the warning reads.
The next issue also stated the risks of forest fires and other dangers due to high temperatures due to the intense heat both in Turkey and in many parts of Europe.
“High temperatures are affecting many regions of Turkey, and there is a risk of forest fires. Forest fires in Turkey often occur during the summer months. Be careful when visiting forest areas or driving a car,” the British are warned.
We will remind you that earlier in Great Britain, more than 250 cases of salmonellosis were discovered, brought by tourists from hotels that offer rest under the “all inclusive” system. In connection with the mass import, the British Health Safety Agency (UKHSA) warned holidaymakers about the risk of infection and published recommendations. Read details at this link.
