“Luxury” Turkish hotels are experiencing a massive return to the European market, which has not been in the past two “pandemic” seasons, and expect that the beginning of summer will be even better than in the 2019 season.
Mehmet Zeki Yunal, CEO of Mylome Luxury Hotel & Resort in Alanya, Antalya Province, made such an optimistic forecast in the Turkish media. He is confident that “despite all the negative moments,” the hotel will close the season with results above 2019.
“I am very pleased to compare this beauty with last year. An unexpected flow of orders from the European market has begun, with good orders coming from Germany, Belgium, France, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, which did not exist last year,” he said.
According to him, last year there were very few bookings from Germany, from the UK last season there were none at all, as the country was closed to Turkey.
“Today, Germany ranks first in the number of bookings from Europe this year, and England – second. In addition, countries such as Belgium, the Netherlands and Denmark, as a result, all exceeded all our expectations from early booking. Sales are now growing as it gets warmer in Eastern Europe. There are reservations from countries such as Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, Macedonia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia. I can already say that I hope that this year will be successful,” he said.
