
Mexican carrier Aeromexico has been named the most punctual airline in the world, with 91.76% of its flights arriving on time, according to the October ranking by Cirium, a leading aviation analytics company.
Among airports, the top spot goes to Harbin Taiping International Airport in northeastern China, which posted an impressive 95.74% on-time performance.

In Europe, Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) ranked first with 84.43% of flights arriving on time.
The analysis covered more than 370,000 flights, representing 99.8% of global air traffic.
Global trends
Overall, flight cancellations dropped by 26% compared to September, signaling improved operational stability in global aviation, according to BusinessWire.
The Asia-Pacific region performed particularly well, with cancellations down 43% due to higher efficiency and expanded capacity in Japan, South Korea, and the Philippines.
The region also hosts all top three airports for October — two in China and one in Taiwan.
By contrast, North America saw a 12.6% increase in flight cancellations amid a 41-day partial U.S. government shutdown that affected airport operations and air traffic control.
