Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism has announced that by 2025, the country’s hotel capacity has increased by approximately 10,000 rooms. According to Sherif Fathi, the government is investing heavily in transport infrastructure — including highways, railways, airports, and tourist ports — to better connect destinations and encourage further growth in the hospitality sector.
