On the occasion of World Hepatitis Day, which falls on July 28 each year, the Great Pyramid of Cheops in Giza was illuminated with blue and orange light in cooperation between the Ministries of Tourism and Antiquities, Health and Population.
Ashraf Mohildin, director of the Giza Pyramids, explained that the tradition also came in honor of the eradication of hepatitis C in Egypt, one of the most important achievements of the 100 Million Health Initiative. The Ali Muhammad Mosque in Cairo was also illuminated.
The pyramid of Cheops in Egypt lit up with blue and orange light
