A Sunexpress plane took off from Paris to Izmir, Turkey, leaving 30 passengers at the airport, Airporthaber reports.
According to the portal, the incident occurred on November 18 at Charles de Gaulle Airport. The Paris-Izmir flight, scheduled for 17:00, was delayed by three hours. By 20:00 information about the departure time had not appeared.
Then the passengers decided to check the status of their flight in the application and discovered that the plane had already departed. The people remaining at the airport were unable to reach airline representatives to understand what was happening.
Meanwhile, the plane flew safely to Izmir.
Sunexpress representatives later contacted the forgotten passengers, placed them in a hotel, and provided them with seats on the next flight to Turkey.
