A private plane crashed at the Imperial War Museum airfield in Duxford, UK.
According to the source, the crash occurred on March 26. Presumably, the plane crash happened in front of schoolchildren who came to the museum that day.
“The color of the aircraft’s crashed fuselage and the partially visible registration on it match that of a private light aircraft, a Cirrus SR-22 Turbo, registered at Duxford airfield. FlightRadar24 flight data shows the aircraft took off from Duxford at 1:21 p.m. and circled the airfield for 19 minutes, and then collapsed,” the museum said.
No casualties were reported, although it is noted that after the emergency, doctors performed artificial respiration on a person who was lying next to the wreckage.
IWM Duxford is Britain’s largest aviation museum, with runways and exhibition hangars housing hundreds of aircraft.
