A passenger at the airport refused to overpay for luggage and broke his bag, and the video went viral on TikTok.
According to the Independent, the video was filmed at Edinburgh Airport and has been viewed over 4.6 million times and received close to 150,000 likes.
“The airline allows all passengers to take one bag with them free of charge in hand luggage, but its dimensions should not exceed the standards. Wheels are included in the calculation,” the publication writes. In the video, which has become popular, a man tries to fit his suitcase into the measuring frame of the airline, no concern for his safety.
The passenger did not want to pay extra for luggage and resolutely set to work in front of his companions.
“A man jumps on his suitcase when he realizes that his luggage does not fit into the standards. Another remarked that the situation was unfair: “There were so many people who came through with big bags that didn’t fit. Is that fair?”
