It is difficult to unequivocally name the best seat on the plane: some people prefer to sit by the window, others – by the aisle. However, the advantages are more specific. A flight attendant told The Sun why she always books the 5th row when she flies as a passenger on a Boeing 737-800.
Flight attendant Rosie Awad has been with Virgin Australia for nearly a decade, and not only does she have a favorite seat, but she also has a favorite row. “I always choose row 5 near the window on a Boeing 737-800. It has a great view, you can see the wing of the plane, there is extra legroom, there is no emergency exit liability, you can put your bag under the seat in front, it is close to the exit, and it is one of the first to be served during the flight,” she explained.
However, Rosa has some places she does not want to sit, especially the last row in the cabin and the rows near the toilet. She explains that the toilets emit an unpleasant smell, so she advises choosing a seat a few rows from the back of the plane.
Former flight attendant Madeline Doyle also points out that the air currents in the tail of the plane are less stable, and the places above the wings provide the smoothest flight. However, another flight attendant believes that the best seat on the plane is the aisle seat at the front of the cabin.
