Two factors at once could cause attacks on women in Egyptian Hurghada. This was stated by the diver Mohammed Sameer. This is the breeding season for sharks and the working propellers of boats standing in the Sahl Hasheesh lagoon south of Hurghada.
Based on the nature of the bites and injuries, it is concluded that with a probability of 95%, two women died after being attacked by a tiger shark. This species of shark is now ending its breeding season. At this moment they swim in shallow water.
The raptors are trapped in the lagoon, where there are many boats at the exit.
The Egyptian Ministry of the Environment said a second tourist died in Hurghada after being attacked by a shark. Beaches in Egypt were closed after a deadly shark attack
