As the newspaper Turizm Gazetesi writes, representatives of the Turkish tourism industry propose to reconsider the all-inclusive format in hotels so that tourists can independently choose what food and drinks to pay for.
At the same time, the well-established and popular all-inclusive system among tourists will remain. The head of the Mediterranean Association of Hoteliers and Tour Operators, Kaan Kavaloglu, spoke about this.
The need to revise the all-inclusive system is explained by rising costs in the difficult economic situation in Turkey, as well as the need to create new types of services for tourists.
The proposed model, codenamed “pay what you use,” is focused on the non-alcoholic all-inclusive option.
Let us remind you that in Turkey there are hotels with an all-inclusive system without alcohol. But this tourism product is not mass-produced and will not become an alternative to the usual system.
It is not known how much cheaper the new “pay as you use” format will be than traditional packages.
