In Turkey, the “All Inclusive” system will change: hotels will switch to a 3-level “All Inclusive” system, which includes low, medium, and high levels. Kaan Cavaloglu, president of the Mediterranean Tourism Association of Hoteliers and Operators, stated this. However, such changes are unlikely to happen soon.
According to him, with a goal for 2024, it is stated that the “all-inclusive” system “must be softened.” He explained that after several good seasons in Turkey, the system became “rigid” and “some things were added too much. “It will be necessary to go back a little. We also worked on this when planning all-inclusive low, medium, and high-income hotels. Now we will set the standard for this system,” he assured.
However, this clearly will not happen in the coming years. In them, the industry should engage in “adjustment and balancing”, the expert said. All the more so that competitors can come “on the heels” of any moment – the same Spain that Turkey overtook “due to the innovations of our facilities”.
At the same time, Mr. Cavaloglu urged hoteliers to be realistic and not to count too much on the 2024 season. “We will have to take very discreet steps without losing our price and service advantage in the new season,” he emphasized.
