The Thai Foreign Ministry has published official information on the new rules for entering the country, which come into force on May 1.
So, in the memo created by the ministry, it says that all foreign tourists will have to issue a Thailand Pass to visit the kingdom.
Vaccinated foreigners will also need a certificate of vaccination made with Thai-approved drugs and medical insurance with coverage of $10,000 or more.
For unvaccinated tourists, quarantine upon entry has been lifted if they do a PCR test up to 72 hours before the trip and upload it to the Thailand Pass. You will also need health insurance with coverage of at least $10,000.
Otherwise, unvaccinated foreigners will have to go into quarantine, so proof of a five-day AQ hotel prepayment, a PCR test and a special airport transfer, and health insurance with coverage of $10,000 or more will be required.
