Five Thai beaches were included in the rating of “the best beaches on earth in 2023”. One of them topped this ranking, and four others also entered the top 100, and were among the first tens. This was reported by the Thai media, which referred to the rating of the British website World Beach Guide. The winning beach of Koh Kradan Island off the coast of Trang Province was named the best of the “100 Best Beaches on Earth 2023”.
The winning beach is not well known to Ukrainian tourists. Koh Kradan Island is one of the 40 Trang Islands located off the Andaman Coast of Thailand. “Mass” tourist infrastructure, unlike even the neighboring island of Koh Muk – there are no villages here, only a few small resorts and shops, and most of the island is part of the Hat Chao Mai National Park.
Four more Thai beaches were also included in the “100 Best Beaches on Earth in 2023”. In the top ten, Reilly Beach in Krabi Province was ranked ninth, Freedom Beach in Phuket was ranked eighteenth, and Laem Beach on Ko Yao Yai Island in Phang Nga Province was twenty-first. Rounding out the list of beaches is Thanot Bay on Koh Tao Island in Surat, Thani Province, which came in at number 44.
