An earthquake struck the Turkish province of Adana in the south of the country this morning. Its magnitude was 5.5.
According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), the tremor was recorded at 08:44. The outbreak occurred at a depth of 10 km, the epicenter was located 70 km northwest of the city of Osmaniye and 20 km northeast of the city of Kozan.
Tremors were felt in a number of regions of Turkey and Syria.
According to the Turkish Disaster Management Authority, there were no reports of casualties or damage.
