Slovenia has abolished the wearing of masks indoors

Since yesterday, April 14, the Slovenian authorities have canceled the mandatory mask regime in public places. The wearing of masks remains mandatory only in medical facilities.

The decision is due to a significant improvement in the epidemiological situation – the number of cases of coronavirus has been decreasing for the third week in a row.

Recall that earlier in Slovenia, violators of sanitary and epidemic measures were punished with a fine of 135 euros (in case of repeated exposure to public places without a mask, this amount was doubled).

Slovenia lifted restrictions on the entry of tourists due to the COVID-19 pandemic from February 19, 2022.
