A plane crash in the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil has killed seven people.
Roya News reported that the single-engine plane crashed in a rural area around 1:30 p.m. local time after breaking up in mid-air over the town of Itabira. According to the fire services of Minas Gerais, the bodies of seven passengers on board the plane were found at the scene of the crash.
State Civil Police experts and members of the Aircraft Accident Investigation and Prevention Center began working at the scene to determine the cause of the crash. Details about the cause of the crash have not yet been disclosed.
