While in Egypt tourists complain about the “cold wind”, in Thailand meteorologists are afraid of hellish heat. Since the onset of the summer season at the end of February, tourists are promised heat up to +45 degrees, as well as showers, waves, and other troubles that make the heat even harder to bear.
Thailand’s summer season will last from the end of February to mid-May, Thailand’s meteorological department said, warning locals and tourists that some provinces in the country could experience intense heat up to nearly 45 degrees Celsius. However, even average temperatures will be quite hot – 35-36 degrees.
Another warning for tourists – more rain and possibly heavy downpours are expected in Thailand’s popular resorts during this period, which will last from late February to mid-April. Waves in the Andaman Sea and Gulf of Thailand will reach a height of one to two meters and the temperature will be around 37-38°C. Cyclones, storms, and other troubles are possible.
The next weekend in Phuket is a relatively comfortable +32°C, the weekend promises to be cloudless. The sky will start to overcast from next week, but there is no promise of rain yet. The water in the sea is hot – at +30 degrees. By the way, despite the gloomy weather, tourists are asked not to forget about sunscreen.
