Russian tourists claim that they were raped by hotel staff in Turkey: the Turks were awarded a venereal disease

The pro-government Telegram channel Mash told about a scandalous criminal case, apparently initiated in Russia, but related to rape in Turkey: two Russian tourists were raped in the Republic of Turkey by employees of the hotel where they were resting. One of the women voiced an original “omen” to the law enforcement officers: the victims awarded the Turks with a specific disease that would simplify the proof of the criminals’ guilt.

As the source assures, “two Moscow girlfriends-waitresses accused their newly-acquired boyfriends of rape in Antalya, Turkey.” Moreover, the girl’s application was submitted already in Moscow, “when they explained to their parents why they disappeared for two days and did not respond to messages.”

The telegram channel tells the story in the following words: “Natasha and Oksana (names changed) went on vacation to the sea in Antalya. In the last days of rest, the mood appeared to test the local clubs – they turned to Kamil, a hotel employee, for advice. He assured that he and his friend would organize “all-inclusive” and ensure security. But after the cocktails in the club, the friends fainted. The vague memories: hotel, Turks, violence.” According to the channel, the girls’ parents convinced them to apply. “Then a flight home, an interrogation, and a statement to the police. One of the victims says that she gave the Turk a special disease in memory of her. The second – who does not remember anything, but was also affected by the hospitality,” the Telegram channel adds.

The source also notes that, according to the assumption of the investigation, the Turks drugged the female tourists beforehand. A criminal case has been initiated.

We will remind you that the problem of rape of gullible female tourists is very acute in Turkish resorts. So, more than fifty cases that happened to their British female tourists led to the fact that the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCDO) of Britain even published a special list of recommendations for female tourists. First of all, tourists and especially female tourists were reminded that any stranger or little-known person can be an intruder. Most rape cases in Turkey, the department noted, took place at night after meeting or communicating with someone during the day — as in our case with female tourists who confided in a random acquaintance.

“You should be especially vigilant in such situations. Never accept offers from strangers, including those letting you down. If you have any concerns, please seek advice from your tour operator or the Turkish authorities,” the FCDO’s warning to British women also read. Tourists (of both sexes) are also advised to be wary of strangers in clubs and bars so that nothing is added to their drink. “Buy your drinks, don’t accept them from friends, and always keep an eye on the glass so they don’t spill anything. Be wary of strangers who approach you, offering you food and drinks (they may be laced with drugs) to exchange money or take you to a restaurant or nightclub,” the department said.
