Rome-Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci International Airport has announced a new project, the Movie Lounge.
Rome’s Fiumicino Airport will have its first cinema. The Movie Lounge will open in October 2022. The project, developed in collaboration with the renowned studio Rai Cinema, was presented for the first time at the Italian Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival. The cinema hall will become another place of attraction for passengers while waiting for flights.
The organizers promise that the Movie Lounge program will be designed in such a way as to meet the needs of various categories of viewers. Short films, equipment for people with hearing and vision impairments, and even films in the “virtual reality” format will be available here.
