The tennis legend enters into a long-term cooperation with the Swiss National Tourism Committee Switzerland Tourism.
The overall goal: to attract guests to Switzerland with its energetic nature.
Support is very much needed at this time, after the biggest tourism crisis since World War II.
“This is the perfect deal, as Switzerland and its impeccable character have clearly contributed to Roger’s unprecedented career,” explains Martin Naidegger, head of Swiss tourism.
Communication activities will begin in April, focusing on European cities, followed by the United States and the Asia-Pacific region.
A series of short videos will show how Federer is inspired by Swiss nature.
“I’ve always felt that when I go out on the court, I imagine Switzerland. Every time my name is written there, there is a Swiss flag next to it.”
“I’ve been very proud to have done this for 22 years of my career, and it always will be.”
“Joining forces with ST is now a logical step for me,” Federer said.
