The aviation industry in Europe is in a deep crisis, one of the main consequences of which is massive cancellations and rescheduling of flights. The SchengenVisaInfo website presented an anti-rating of airports for which the problem is most relevant in July.
- Brussels – 72% transfers, 2.5% cancellations.
- Frankfurt am Main – 68% rescheduled, 7.8% cancelled.
- Eindhoven – 67% postponed, 1.8% cancelled.
- Luton (London) – 66% of transfers, 2.7% of cancellations.
- Franz Liszt Airport (Budapest) – 65% transfers, 2.1% cancellations.
- Lisbon – 65% transfers, 4.8% cancellations.
- Charles de Gaulle (Paris) – 62% postponed, 2.1% cancelled.
- Schiphol (Amsterdam) – 61% transfers, 5.2% cancellations.
- Côte d’Azur (Nice) – 60% postponed, 3.4% cancelled.
- Gatwick (London) – 59% of transfers, 1.4% of cancellations.
Bergamo, Gran Canaria, and Henri Coanda Airport (Bucharest) were named among the hubs that were the least likely to experience problems with departures.
