New Season: Bulgaria Reports Rising Tourist Numbers from the Balkans, the UK, and Ireland

Early bookings for the upcoming winter season in the Bulgarian ski resort Pamporovo show a notable increase in interest from key foreign markets, including North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, Greece, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. This was confirmed by Pamporovo AD, the company operating the resort.

According to the booking data, a particularly strong rise is expected among tourists from Turkey and Romania, both of which are showing more dynamic growth compared to previous years.

New Trend Among British and Irish Travellers

Alongside the traditional organised British groups arriving through tour operators, the resort is observing a new trend this winter: an increase in individually booked online trips from British and Irish tourists.

The resort is being actively promoted in these markets through a targeted online campaign ahead of the ski season, which has expanded its reach to a broader audience.

Based on early reservations, Pamporovo is also preparing to welcome more visitors from North Macedonia and Serbia.
