A new study on living and working abroad has revealed the best and worst countries for expats.
In a recent Expat Insider study from the world’s largest expat network, Internations, countries were ranked based on 56 aspects of expat life, from cost of living to affordability of housing and high-speed internet. More than 12,000 emigrants representing 171 nationalities and living in 172 countries or territories took part in the survey.
According to the results of the survey, Mexico was recognized as the best country in the world for moving. The country took the first line thanks to indicators such as the friendliness of residents towards foreigners, the level of support for visitors, the affordability of housing, and overall satisfaction with the financial situation.
The second step was taken by Spain, which was praised for its cultural life, conditions for health and sports, climate, and career prospects. Panama closed the top three, where expats are particularly satisfied with the ease of accommodation and the hospitality of residents.
