An influx of not very dangerous, but very uncomfortable tourists, and predators terrorized the entire resort of San Diego in America. Although these are quite small creatures, they caused huge problems for tourists, attacking from all sides anyone who entered the water.
Many tourists swimming in the sea complained of “numerous painful bites”. Experts have long tried to find out which animals attack people. It turned out to be a tiny crustacean genus Excirolana chiltoni.
Although one bite of such a creature is no more painful than an ant bite, they attack in a swarm like a piranha fish. As a result, as complained by Tara Sauvage, one of the first victims of these animals, her leg was practically covered in blood. “The bites healed quickly, but I definitely won’t be going to the beach again shortly,” says the tourist.
