The snow caught residents of Ardahan county in northeastern Turkey by surprise and caused problems on the roads, private Turkish television Cienen-Türk reported.
The rain that started in the region last night has turned into snow in the Ardakhan Hills, causing traffic problems at some places.
Traffic is difficult on the road between the cities of Ardakhan and Posof, and the authorities are warning drivers to be careful, the TV channel reported.
