According to Turkish media, the Chinese government has announced the third list of countries where group tours can be organized for Chinese citizens. It included a total of 78 countries from Asia, Europe, Africa, North and South America, and Oceania – and Turkey also made the list.
“With the decision that came into effect today, tour operators and travel agencies will be able to continue posting and selling travel packages with group tour organizations for all these countries,” the Turks write.
It should be noted that the Chinese are still far from being a serious competitor in beach destinations. However, their return is a real salvation for tourist destinations – primarily for Cappadocia, which is popular with the Chinese.
