The Turkish publication Hurriyet reported on the Russian “full house” in Antalya in connection with another mass departure due to the announced mobilization. The newspaper assures that the prices for flights to Antalya instantly increased to 70,000 Turkish lire (about 142,000 hryvnias) one-way – we are talking about Turkish Airlines flights – and even at these prices, all flights were full.
At the same time, referring to representatives of some unnamed tour operators, the publication assures that “some Russian airlines have banned the sale of tickets to men aged 18 to 65”, that is, who are subject to mobilization. However, Russian air carriers officially denied such rumors.
The Turkish mass media also adds that many Russians move abroad by car. Antalya, Istanbul, and Izmir are in the center of attention of “departees”. In addition, some hope to stay, having already arrived in Turkey – yes, the newspaper assures that “about 30 Russian citizens who came to Antalya for vacation or business purposes did not arrive on their flights from Antalya airport today and did not board the plane.”
