The original “accommodation facility” was offered to “relocates” – that is, Russians who escaped from Russia in Georgia. According to Medialeaks, booking services on Telegram and even the accommodation search service Airbnb posted an ad of an enterprising resident from Tbilisi, who offered tourists accommodation in tents. Moreover, the tents are not located on the ground, but on top – in the attic of his house. It was supposed to charge $200 per month for such a “cozy corner”.
According to the announcement, everyone who wants to is provided with a tent set up in a small area of the room “with heating and internet”. The tented room, according to the owner, is located in a building located in the historical center of Tbilisi. Presumably, the original “hostel” is located in the attic. Among the amenities, residents can use a shared toilet, shower, and washing machine. An extension cord is also included with each tent.
As for the prices, the host asks for 25 lari (about 330 hryvnias) for a day’s stay, and for a month’s rent, the guest will have to pay 600 lari (8100 hryvnias). Moreover, Airbnb offers a more expensive service – for $238 (about UAH 8,800).
