Egypt promises to complete the improvement of the archaeological zone in the area of the Giza pyramids in the second quarter of 2024. This was stated by Egyptian Tourism Minister Ahmed Issa.
As a result, the central entrance will be the gate on the side of the road to Al-Fayoum. Tourists will travel around the archaeological zone on electric buses, which will run along special paths. The route starting from the visitor center has seven stops planned.
Each stop will be equipped with air conditioning, WI-FI and phone chargers. At the same time, tourism services, such as horseback riding and camel riding, will be retained; a separate space will be allocated for this purpose.
Let us remind you that the improvement of the area around the pyramids is being carried out in anticipation of the opening of the Great Egyptian Museum, which is scheduled for 2024.
