In Chile, the door of a light passenger plane fell off after taking off.
The incident took place on December 12 on the island of Navarino. Approximately 10 minutes after takeoff from Puerto Williams airfield, the Beechcraft King Air-100 aircraft opened and blew off the emergency door. The pilot had to make an emergency landing at the airport of departure.
In total, there were 11 people on board – nine passengers and two crew members. Fortunately, none of them were hurt.
