In Bulgaria, there are beaches with free sunbeds and umbrellas

According to the Bulgarian Ministry of Tourism, umbrellas and sunbeds are provided free of charge this summer on 10 beaches on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. This, in fact, has never been! According to officials, this is the result of an agreement between the state and business, which boils down to the following: the state introduces a simplified taxation system for those beach owners who provide sunbeds, umbrellas and other services free of charge.

Prices for sunbeds and umbrellas on the beaches of Bulgaria

However, not everything is so rosy. For example, in the resort “Sunny Beach” such a scheme does not work. If last year a set of umbrellas and sunbeds on the beaches could be rented for an average of 12 levs (6 euros), this year the amount has risen to 15 levs. (7.5 euros). At the Central Beach, an umbrella can be rented for 10 levs (5 euros), and a sunbed for 8 levs. (4 euros).

On the beaches in Ravda umbrella and sunbed can be taken for 8 levs, in Pomorie – for 10 levs, on the beaches of the resort “St. Constantine and Elena “- for BGN 10. Only in Albena and an umbrella and a deck chair can be rented for BGN 1. (05.euro) each.
