Millions of tourists come to Bali every year for a genuine sense of peace. Some tourists do not know the measure of relaxation. Therefore, the island decided to clearly explain the rules of conduct to the guests.
Following Thailand, they decided to take up the education of tourists on the island of Bali. They want to adjust the level of relaxation of travelers vacationing on the island.
In Bali, tourists were reminded of the rules of conduct
The tourist authorities of Bali said that foreign tourists have recently found themselves in unpleasant situations on the island due to violations of the rules of conduct. An example is the situation with the deportation of a tourist because of his dancing in the nude on Mount Batur, a volcano that is revered by the Balinese as sacred.
So that the guests of Bali no longer spoil their vacation with their own hands, the island authorities decided to use billboards to educate tourists on matters of proper behavior on the island.
Bali Tourism Board Chairman Ida Bagus Agung Partha Adnyana said that the Bali Tourism Authority has already commissioned about 10 billboards to be prepared. They will be installed in popular tourist places where the most violations of the rules are recorded. We are talking about the areas of Kuta, Seminyak, Legian, Canggu, Ubud, Sanur, Nusa Dua, and Uluwatu. The inscriptions will be in English, and in the future – in other languages.
On billboards, foreign tourists will be informed about the need to respect the cultural customs of the Balinese, dress modestly, and follow the rules of the road.
They will also remind you of the inadmissibility, according to the laws of the island, of doing business or looking for work here with a tourist visa, that is, without the documents proper for such intentions.
