Hong Kong eases covid restrictions

According to the Associated Press news agency, Hong Kong authorities intend to ease a number of anti-coronavirus restrictions due to the improvement in the epidemiological situation.

Despite plans to ease restrictions, Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam urged citizens to keep social distancing and continue to get vaccinated.

So, from April 21, Hong Kong restaurants will be able to work until 22:00, the number of visitors gathering at one table will increase to four people. Bars and pubs will remain closed for now.

In addition, beauty salons, gyms, amusement parks, cinemas will reopen. However, their occupancy should not exceed 50%.
