According to CNN, French Polynesia has decided to impose a limit on the number of foreign tourists arriving.
So, no more than 280,000 guests are ready to receive here a year. This is exactly the number of people living on the islands, including such popular tourist destinations as Bora Bora and Tahiti.
The new solution will make the local tourism industry more “inclusive and sustainable”.
Earlier in October, French Polynesia was named one of the top travel destinations for 2022 by The Readers’ Choice Awards.
